Possibility of viewing other player's games

Perhaps it could be possible to view a game without participating (without being able to talk to or advise any of the players, of course).

What would really be a boon to newcomers (like me) would be the possibility of viewing the replays of previous games – perhaps there could be a database of previously played games, and to help identify which games were played by two experienced players (hence, a good learning experience for noobs) people who viewed the replay could vote on how "good" a game it was.

I thought of this because I have never actually seen a well-played game of Kriegspiel!!

This is an excellent idea.
ALL kinds of kinds of kriegspiel games,
good,bad, and indifferent,
would be instructive in various ways.

In fact, making one viewable on the "About" page would make the whole game so more more understandable for a newcomer.

although i had help from a (very talented) part time coder for about a year leading up to the spring 2008 beta release.

is the game still alive & developing? if so, saving replays is a must have
